Description:
I guess everyone on this site has a story. Mine is probably similar to the reason that most people are here. Your relationship crashed and burned. Married for x number of years, still in legal limbo after x number of years. After three years, it's time to start testing the waters. Besides traveling and working all the time, you get tired of living like a monk.

Relationships change, people change. I can say with absolute certainty, my parent's generation never got divorced with few exceptions. Our generation and the generations after us are different. Things change, maybe our parent's understanding of marriage didn't. Sometimes, you might end up being with the wrong person. Funny, how quick and easy it is to lock the relationship up through marriage and how difficult it can be to dissolve it if it goes sideways. I would rather take a more philosophical outlook on the divorce experience. In my mind, I can think of two songs which really sum up the end of a relationship and all the hopes and dreams which go along with it. Billy Joel wrote a song called, The Stranger. Dave Mason wrote one, We Just Disagree. There have been a thousand, hell, a million songs written about the woes one experiences in a relationship. You might be able to find something about your own situation in each and every song. I think if you can walk away without being bitter, that's half the battle as you are on your way for finding the hopes and dreams of tomorrow.
Ideal match description:
I am not looking for a perfect match, but friendship and compatibility. Basically, a person that is down to earth and comfortable in life being their self. I would rather experience a person as they are then have a preconceived notion of 'perfect' expectations which no one could live up to. Life is tough enough trying to live it by yourself. When it comes to relationships, the idea is to find commonality, which leads to compatibility before the curtain which hides our feelings is opened.
