I'm widowed after 35 years with my best friend. Father to 5 children. I am a lawyer with an active practice in a large metropolitan area in California. I live on and farm 80 acres of peaches in a rural area 20 minutes from my law office. My youngest daughter lives with me while she finishes school. I also live with 1 dog and 3 horses. In my free time I like to take my horses into the nearby mountains to ride, camp, fish, and explore. I like to travel, but with as many animals as I have spontaneous long trips are difficult and need to be planned in advance.

My ideal woman is kind, intelligent, loyal, affectionate, modest, dignified, and playful. She is hard working and is comfortable outside of a city. She either lives in the country or is looking for a quiet life away from the constant chaos of the city. I don't live in a remote area, and I travel to my office in a large city every day. I hope she can drive so she can drive into the city to shop or meet me for lunch. I will teach her to drive if she doesn't drive already.
